At Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera Bro Dur, we value the talents and opinions of our students. Our year group leadership team plays a vital role in reviewing and improving our performance, carrying out surveys and research and offering invaluable insights into the everyday protocols of the school.

Ystalyfera Secondary

Every year group in Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera has a Committee. These committees meet regularly to share their opinions about ways to improve the school. These committees include members from each form group who have been elected by their peers. They then discuss matters raised by the classes and feed their ideas and concerns to the School Council meetings via their year group representatives. Their role is very important in ensuring everyone has the opportunity to have their voice heard.
