We are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful, committed, forward-thinking and caring team of staff who ensure that all learners reach their full potential in all aspects of life here with us at Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera. We celebrate all pupils’ success and progress and recognise each child as an individual, as part of our inclusive ethos.

As a 3-18 school, we have access to state of the art facilities across our site, which results in excellent enrichment opportunities for our children, such as catering experiences, French, Science experiments in our laboratories, and with the development of the final phase of building to be completed by Christmas, access to a 2G playing field and a fully equipped Performance Hall. Additionally, the Primary Building itself is a new build with state of the art facilities such as access to the very best IT equipment, so that we can develop our pupils’ digital competency skills across the curriculum.
